​We started our Greenschools programme in 2004.  Greenschools is an environmental management and award programme for primary and secondary schools in Ireland and promotes long-term whole school actions for the environment. It encourages teamwork within the whole school community.

We have successfully obtained six green flags.

• Flag one: Litter and Waste

• Flag Two: Energy

• Flag Three: Water

• Flag Four: Travel

• Flag Five: Biodiversity

• Flag Six: Global Citizenship Litter and Waste

• Flag Seven: Global Citizenship Energy and Waste

We are now working towards our Eight Green Flag for Global Citizenship Marine Environment.
